Norio Okaido currently serves the Japan Foundation as:
-Special Assistant to the Executive Director, Center for Global Partnership
-Secretary General, The US-Japan Conference on Cultural & Educational Interchange (CULCON)
-Secretary General, Japan-China-Korea Cultural Forum
Between 1971 and 2006, he held numerous positions at Mitsubishi Corporation and its affiliates – a trade and investment firm headquartered in Japan.
His managerial responsibilities covered countries around the globe, with particular strength in relations with the U.S., China, Korea & the Asia Pacific.
He has received an MBA from Harvard University (1976) and BA in Economics from Keio University (1971). He was also an Exchange Scholar at Stanford University (1969-70).
