CULCON VII
“The Seventh United States-Japan Conference on Cultural and Educational Interchange was held in Tokyo from June 17 to June 20, 1974.  Delegates and specialists representing the governments, academic communities, mass media, businesses, political communities and worlds of fine arts of the two countries met to review the state of cultural and educational interchange since the last conference two years ago and discussed ways to expand exchanges and strengthen understanding in the future.” (CULCON VII, Joint Statement)
