CULCON Hosts 11th Summit of U.S.-Japan Related Organizations

On January 7, 2022, U.S. CULCON hosted a virtual summit to bring together representatives from more than 35 U.S.-Japan Related organizations. The Summit focused on Collaborative Online Learning (COIL) and Diversifying U.S.-Japan Educational Exchange. Dr. Keiko Ikeda, Professor in the Division of International Affairs and KU-COIL Coordinator at Kansai University, led the discussion on how various forms of COIL (including those with in-person components) can be utilized as a tool to advance global learning, promote mobility, and be a catalyst to promote equity and inclusion.
